The series was chiefly inspired by the poem " Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came" by Robert Browning, whose full text was included in the final volume's appendix. In addition to the eight novels of the series proper that comprise 4,250 pages, many of King's other books relate to the story, introducing concepts and characters that come into play as the series progresses. The series, and its use of the Dark Tower, expands upon Stephen King's multiverse and in doing so, links together many of his other novels. Incorporating themes from multiple genres, including dark fantasy, science fantasy, horror, and Western, it describes a "gunslinger" and his quest toward a tower, the nature of which is both physical and metaphorical. ![]() The Dark Tower is a series of eight novels, one novella, and a children's book written by American author Stephen King. ![]() Michael Whelan, Phil Hale, Ned Dameron, Dave McKean, Jae Lee, Bernie Wrightson, Darrel Andersonĭark fantasy, science fiction, horror, Western ![]() ![]() Update Fri 6th Nov, 2020 00:25 GMT: The new update for Bug Fables is now live. Originally posted by ChonkyRat:right? not only that, its exceptionally barebones. We appreciate you guys' enthusiasm for Curse of the Dead Gods, and we're hoping to bring more things to the game, even if it is not our priority at the moment!Ĭheers, its a well made game! Thanks for all you guys have done over the years of development and i hope to see success in your new game! But at the moment, we're taking a break from Curse of the Dead Gods to focus on the development of a new game. It doesn't mean that we won't patch a few bugs here and there, or even add more content or features in the future. Moreover, the Motion Twin team created a new studio to focus only on Dead Cells updates, and so far this is not in our plans haha ![]() Since you're mentioning Dead Cells, I think it would be fair to remind you that the game is now 3 years old and had plenty of time to create all the updates you're referring to. Basically what Esty and Epica242 said is right, the game is fully released and we even popped an extra post-launch update in June with a surprise Dead Cells crossover. I recommend you to delete the save game file to test everything again. I look forward to hearing what you think of the changes. You can check in the lower left corner of the main menu if your version is 0.1.120. Also I don't know if its a demo thing but is the idea by the time you're done with level 1 you would max out most of your stats or there are other upgrades planned in the full game? I did an update 1 hour ago. Originally posted by ParanoidPotato:Wait so you patch the game so I don't get 600 kills by round 4? I was enjoying the amounts of deaths I had but I realized that it actually just prolonged game time rather than actually having fun, but the hardcore loop was fun in the trial and error sort of way. Helps at least to know that there's something new that I need to look at. But eventually there is something new that I miss. This is interesting because I can't read, so I assume that everything is in the same order. I think that an outline would work just fine, especially if it has a visual effect. Or what color do you suggest? I can create a separate version of the game. Do you think if I put a white outline around the crystals the problem will be solved? ![]() The problem with changing colors is that the palette chosen for the game has few colors. I have already increased the dead zone 1 time. Game is pretty cool! I Would love to keep providing feedback! <3 Hi! It's large but I keep losing sight of it in mor chaotic moments. ![]() I love the kill confirmation sound, makes all the difference! I also would like to see the aiming reticle with more contrast. I missed it a couple times and it ruined the run. I'm using a xbox series x controller and the deadzone is too low, most of the time I'm not moving and the character keeps going.Īs a low vision player, I would suggest that, when we have a heal item or upgrade, so it could be highlighted witha different color. |
